Don’t Buy Into These “Trends” About Funny Christmas Stories

Sleeping Santa, Angry Snowman, and other Christmas tales from the old country.

The carolers dutifully sang their way up the walkway as a light snow fell around them.

The red glow of their lanterns added a touch of brilliancy to the outside world as they approached a large white house to serenade its inhabitants under the vast night sky.

Here is the best information about a christmas story fabric?

The large wooden door opened before they could knock and an old man stepped out, blinking in surprise at the group of carolers.

Here are some funny stories discussed about Christmas-

1.Sleeping Santa

A few years ago, I worked at a large European Laboratory. During the holidays I was working extra hours to make sure everything runs smoothly.

One night, around 4:00 am, I ran the data for the final time and printed out all the statistical analyses for my boss to review during his next trip to Europe.

The printer was located in the main hallway which connected all of our offices, so I locked myself in my office to finish writing up some other reports that were due that week.

At about 4:45 am, after everything had been completed, I began walking down the hall towards the printer with several reports in hand when something caught my eye through one of our large glass windows.

There in the woods next to our property, I saw a large and imposing figure slowly lumbering through the trees.

2.Angry Snowman

During my childhood, we lived in a rural area of the village. For Christmas most of my friends and I would walk to my home and exchange presents with each other. One year, however, there was a particular boy that wasn’t allowed to play with us because his parents thought that all our mothers were too dangerous.

They didn’t want us playing with any girls until we became older, so he was never allowed to come over. I was secretly very disappointed because this boy was quite funny and charming when not under his parent’s scrutiny.

So, when he arrived at my house a few days before Christmas, I was thrilled to see him.

Though it was dark outside, the light from my house reflected off the snow and into the forest that bordered both sides of my farm.

It wasn’t long before we noticed something moving in the woods opposite of our houses.

3.Christmas in the Old Country

One of my favorite memories of Christmas occurred during my childhood. My mother came from a village in the Pyrenees mountains in France, where she used to tell us wonderful stories about growing up in her home.

Among her stories were various tales about Santa Claus, who was known as Pere Noel, and another man who took on many of his characteristics.

These two characters were often confused for one another by children because they looked so similar and always showed up at the same time of year.

As the children watched the strange old man in their house, they would try to tell him apart from Santa Claus, but he would always play along with their game.

The jolly old man always brought them an apple or cherry that was grown on the family farm.

4.The Christmas Card Caper

It’s Christmas Eve and our building is on lock-down for some reason. All of us are stuck in our offices while some kind of nonsense is going on in the main part of the building.

I’m about to lose my mind when all of a sudden, there’s a commotion at the door of my office.

“Open up, Sam. I know you’re in there.”

It’s my manager. I can feel my heart beating faster as I look out the small window that gives me a view into the main office. “What are you doing here?” I ask, but he ignores me and steps inside, quickly searching the room.

“Well, well…” he says as he pulls a large box out of his bag, smiling widely at it. It looks like Christmas itself is about to start right now.

“I got you one last year,” he says as opens up his hand to reveal another box in it alongside the one he’s holding in his hands. “And I got everyone else one too. Can you believe that these things still actually work?”

There was a pause where I wasn’t sure what he meant, but then he lifted up a hand to show off a small plastic box with a piece of paper in it. It was the same kind of thing we’d carried around in grade school when we made Christmas cards.

“You write your message on this thing, and then stick it to the wall. Everyone gets one tomorrow,” he says as he shows me his card.
