Methods Of JOB RECRUITMENT

A job is something people pursue in order to earn money driver central venture express. There are many different types of jobs that differ in field and pay. Some people work by choice while others do not have a choice.

1. Job Definition:

The term job is a work that people do to make money in most of the countries. It is a daily activity which people want to do and perform well in one’s career. It would also be of interest to perform such jobs every day. 

2. Suitability:

People may do a job that they are not good at but because it would earn them money, they will overcome their weaknesses eventually. This can be seen through the case of an athlete who does not get into their favorite sport because of injury or by an executive who wants to take up a non-essential position even though it is beneath him or her in order to better his or her career and to earn more money. 

3. Competency Statement (CQS):

This is a document which is used to evaluate each candidate based on their desired competencies and skills. It can be a separate document, or a section of the interview. The competency statement will be compared to skills and achievements of the individual. 

4. Market Analysis:

This analysis would help in gaining all the information needed for one person to make career choices, what type of work he or she will perform and obtain the information concerning all other people in his or her field of interest that his or her target employer needs in order to make decisions as to who he or she should hire. 

5. Resumes and Cover Letters:

A resume is a list of an individual’s skill set, education and experience that is used to apply for a job. A cover letter should be attached to the resume in order to bolster his or her application. 

6. Interviews:

An interview is a meeting where the person being interviewed will ask questions as well as answer them in order to assess his or her interest level and their knowledge, skills, qualifications and personality. 

7. Personal References:

This is where a potential employer will ask for recommendations from persons who currently work for the same employer or already in the same industry as the individual being interviewed. This is also very useful to a potential employer in order to gather more information about the person and his/her skills and qualifications from those persons who have been around them on a day-to-day basis. 

8. Experience:

This is a free time period during which one can get experience about what type of job he or she would like to do and it may be gained through volunteer work, assignments, internships, and apprenticeships. It will also be helpful to gain experience before starting a job in order to make a better decision.

9. Attitude:

This is what people believe and it should be in tune with the field one would like to work in and their competencies. 

10. Relative Experience:

This is important because of the fact that previous employees who have worked with newer hires will have a better understanding of their abilities, as well as becoming familiar with what they like and do not like about their job. 

11. Reputation:

This is what people think about the person and that can be measured from his or her past work record and personality. 

12. Education:

This includes it all from preschool to university, being well prepared for the job market would help in making a well-planned career choice. 

13. Qualifications:

This is experience plus education plus knowledge of one’s targeted field of interest which will be necessary in order to do one’s job best and contribute more effectively to the organization. 

14. Character:

This is one’s ethical and moral values that should be aligned with the job description. 

15. Personal History:

This also includes where one has been going to school, the number of jobs held in previous years and the age at which one began his or her career. It can also include other factors such as personality, some hobby or past associations that could affect the person being interviewed for a job. 

16. Knowledge of Job Market:

It is important to know potential employers’ needs in terms of competency attributes and skills, what type of work they are seeking and other things that would affect a person’s decision on accepting an offer from them. 

17. Packing:

This is where a person will be asked to bring something that he or she would need while working in the new job. It is important because it will help the employer to get to know the individual better prior to his or her employment and also assist him with quick problem solving. 

18. Commitment:

This is a positive attitude towards one’s career choice and one’s employer, in order for this attitude to show through and make an impression on those around him or her.
