Things That Make You Love And Hate Flipping Vegas

“Flipping Vegas,” for those that don’t know, is a reality show about two former Las Vegas real estate agents from the same company, who decide to quit their day jobs to flip houses in the desert. The show premiered on December 2nd on A&E and has been enjoying massive ratings ever since. Flipping vegas scott and amy divorce is the latest news. Flipping Vegas is probably the most popular show that has been shown on A&E in recent years, if not ever. I’ve watched the first three episodes of season one and it is definitely an interesting program that captures your attention.

Mike and Laura offer a fresh take on the house flipping genre by having a different kind of show, while also offering viewers a fun way to learn flipping skills. Now that you have the gist of what flipping shows are all about, here’s some things you’ll love (and hate) about Flipping Vegas. But before we get into that, let’s give you a bit of background information on these popular programs and what they entail.

Things That Make You Love Flipping Vegas :

1. The Finale Episode

The most intriguing part about Flipping Vegas is watching the finale episode. I’m a massive fan of these kinds of shows that have an open-ended ending, so when I find out what happens to Mike and Laura, I can’t help but get excited. However, there’s one thing that really makes me want to tune in on a weekly basis to see how things go. It’s the real estate market or rather, the lack of real estate market.

2. The Show Is Funny

There are many different humor styles presented in Flipping Vegas, ranging from slapstick to situational to maturity. Like any comedy show, the humor is what keeps the viewer coming back for more (unless it’s a drama). Zingers like, “I’m going to flip your flipper!” from Mike will make you crack up and keep watching episode after episode.

3. Mike And Laura

I have to give it to the two former real estate agents, Mike and Laura. Neither of them have any prior experience in the industry, yet they’re able to motivate viewers to buy houses and get them on track towards a successful flip. They offer a fresh outlook on the flipping genre that makes watching Flipping Vegas an entertaining experience.

Things That Make You Hate Flipping Vegas:

1. The Lack Of Buyers

One of the most annoying aspects of Flipping Vegas is the lack of buyers. Honestly, I could care less whether Mike and Laura sell their house or not. The house flipping show format works for me. However, I don’t think many viewers would like this type of show if there wasn’t a central plot that makes for a story line. While some people may have gotten excited about this aspect, others may have found it really annoying. I know it sounds really harsh, but let’s just say that the lack of buyers makes for a boring and depressing show .

2. They Talk Down To The Viewers

Mike and Laura have been known to talk down to the viewers throughout the show, especially in the first season. They’ve even said that Flipping Vegas is more of a how-to guide than a how-to-flip house show, making it sound like they’re doing us a favor. Not to mention that in episode six, Mike makes an off-color joke about hookers. This doesn’t exactly make for family viewing, which is pretty disappointing if you ask me.

3. No Proven Results

Even though Mike and Laura have a lot of success in the first season, they don’t get many viewers from their “flip” of the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas. They do receive an overwhelming amount of criticism from other real estate agents on social media, who question whether or not their flipping skills are genuine. I’m not sure I can fully disagree with that statement. However, it does make sense for Flipping Vegas to be a Las Vegas-based show considering what it has to offer viewers. After all, there isn’t anything similar to this type of show on TV at all.

Overall, Flipping Vegas is a fun and entertaining show that has been receiving remarkable ratings. However, the lack of viewers may be a bit disappointing for some. The suspense of what happens next will probably leave you at the edge of your seat waiting for more or maybe not. Either way, keep watching this program that is definitely worth watching for those who enjoy flipping houses.

4. Flipping Vegas : The Negativity

The show has had a lot of negative feedback on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook, which is expected for a reality show in general. I would just like to point out that the negativity all seems to stem from the lack of viewers. They’re saying that Flipping Vegas should just end already, but are we supposed to get angry about this? I don’t think so. After all, there is no real estate market in Las Vegas. If you can’t find a buyer, maybe it’s time to change your approach or choose another flipping house show.
