This movie is an all-time classic. It’s not just one of the best Bozeman movies, but arguably one of the best movies ever made.
Critics are still raving about this movie 3 decades later. Give it a watch if you haven’t already!
2. The Goonies
“Goonies never say die!” You’ve probably heard that famous catchphrase before, in reference to this 1985 classic adventure movie starring Sean Astin, Corey Feldman, and Josh Brolin in their formative years.
It’s a classic tale of a group of misfit friends who embark on an epic quest to save their homes from foreclosure.
This movie is so good, they even turned it into a video game! Give ‘Goonies never say die!’ a watch and tell us if you think this is one of the best Bozeman movies.
3. The Darjeeling Limited
“The Darjeeling Limited” tells the story of three brothers who reunite for a train journey across India in order to find themselves and mend strained relationships.
It’s an amazing cinematic experience that captures the essence of what India really feels like. It’s a simple, fun movie that has a deeper meaning weaved into the story.
This movie was nominated for an Oscar and also won accolades at numerous film festivals.
It’s one of my personal favorites. Give it a watch and see if you agree with me that this is one of the best Bozeman movies!
4. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
This tells the story of eccentric candy maker Willy Wonka who decides to let 5 children in his mysterious chocolate factory, but under unusual circumstances.
The film is based on Roald Dahl’s classic children’s novel of the same name and was later adapted into a Broadway musical in 2013.
This movie is such a classic, it’s hard to believe it was only released 45 years ago! If you haven’t seen this movie already, make sure you do. It truly is one of the best Bozeman movies.
5. The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
This tells the story of Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of HalloweenTown. After becoming bored with doing the same thing every year for Halloween, he stumbles upon Christmastown and decides to change Christmas into something more like Halloween.
This movie has become a Halloween classic. In fact, I’m pretty sure it’s required viewing for every kid around the time October rolls around.
If you haven’t seen this movie yet, you need to watch it right now! It’s one of the best Bozeman movies for sure!
6. Interstellar (2014)
This tells the story of a group of explorers who travel through a wormhole in order to find a habitable planet that can sustain life.
It stars Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway and is directed by Christopher Nolan (director of “Inception”, “The Dark Knight”, and “The Prestige”).
This movie has been nominated for various awards, including an Oscar.
I saw this movie at the very first Bozeman Film Festival back in 2013. When I told my friends that I was watching “Interstellar” they were impressed, but said they would wait to see it again because it was so long. However, this is truly one of the best Bozeman movies.
If you haven’t seen this yet, check it out right away! It’s the perfect film for a cold winter’s evening, especially if you like Sci-Fi!
7. The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976)
This tells the story of a man who goes on a journey to hunt down the men who killed his family and stole his farm during the American Civil War. It stars Clint Eastwood and is directed by Clint Eastwood, of course
This movie is such an iconic Western film that it was even referenced in “The Simpsons” when Homer considered moving to South Dakota.
If you’re not familiar with this film, then you need to check it out right away. It’s one of the best Bozeman movies for sure!
