You’ll need to have a basic understanding of how The Internet Things works because you will be helping other sells better over it.  However, there are other jobs available in digital marketing, especially if you love to write.  Because the Internet is all about text and images, digital marketing is very content heavy and specific.  There is a huge scope for pay per click (PPC) managers, content writers (on different niches), copywriters, brand managers, and SEO managers, among other positions and job opportunities.

Digital marketing is becoming a permanent part of the professional landscape because the Internet is ‘here to stay!’  This means that you will need to have a strong understanding of it, especially if you are in business because you may either be working with someone in the field, or you may be working directly in the field yourself!
