Buffalo Wild Wings is one of the best places to work in, believe it or not. This may be an unpopular opinion, but we can actually say that our restaurants are completely family-friendly and comfortable. They’re so great that we even offer free play dates and a toy room where kids can play while they enjoy their meal. Our restaurants are also clean, so you don’t have to worry about your children getting sick because they’re surrounded by germs. Buffalo wild wings age to work is 14 years old.
We also focus on creating a great environment for employees as well. We have one of the best training programs in the business, and while we offer it to everyone, it’s especially designed to help get new employees up and running as fast as possible. We want you to feel comfortable so that you can be the best employee possible, and this starts with making sure you feel comfortable from day one. In addition, we offer fun events for employees like team lunches, holiday parties and more!
Here’s What No One Tells You About Working In Buffalo Wild Wings Restaurant :
1. You get to eat on the job.
You might think that you’d be too busy working to enjoy any grub, but at Buffalo Wild Wings, anything that you order has to be eaten on the clock. That’s right: You don’t even have to pay for it. And if you’re worried about getting in trouble for scarfing down more than your fair share, don’t worry — we’ve got an activity sheet and a kid’s menu for you to color in while your food cooks so no one will even notice that you’re eating a second and third round of wings.
2. You’ll get to know every song that’s ever been written.
“Defying Gravity” from the musical “Wicked”? Check. “New York, New York”? Uh-huh. Why, yes, we do have the “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” theme song in our jukebox, and yes, you are welcome to listen on repeat for hours on end if that’s what you’d like to do. Just make sure you’re not doing it too loudly — people will think you’re just practicing for that audition for the new touring production of “Smokey Joe’s Cafe.”
3. You’ll get to be part of something bigger than yourself.
We donate a percentage of our proceeds to charity every year, and we’ve made a big impact in our community over the years — including donating over $6 million since we started the TeamUp4Kids event in 2004. That’s not all that we do, of course — we also donate all of our profits from food sales, and we have a network of AngelMoms who give us money that’s separate from what we raise through TeamUp4Kids, as well. We think that bringing resources to struggling families and kids is one of the best ways to help out our community as well.
4. Everyone will think you’re the coolest kid in school.
When you go to work at Buffalo Wild Wings, you’ll get a lot of respect from your co-workers — and with that comes all sorts of perks, including some pretty sweet bonuses. After your first few shifts, someone’s going to notice that you have serious energy and enthusiasm — and they’ll reward it with an employee-only pizza party. After a while, they’ll start inviting you over to their table so that they can quiz you on all of your favorite movies. This is especially true if it turns out that one of the managers likes the same movies as you do.
5. The benefits make it almost impossible to quit (even if you want to).
If you work at Buffalo Wild Wings, you’ll have access to over a dozen benefits no matter where you live, including health insurance and a 401(k) retirement savings plan. We also have a sports team for employees to join and are affiliated with the NCAA — so if you’re interested in playing sports yourself, we’ll not only pay for your membership fees but will also match your contributions to get you started. Sporty company discounts are also available upon request — we just want our employees to play golf and volleyball as much as they want!
6. You may get mistaken for a promising college baseball recruit.
You might not be a pitcher who consistently hits 90 miles per hour on the radar gun, but if you work in one of our kitchens, customers will swear you are. Truth be told, we do get a lot of people who want to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings to get as close as possible to the experience of eating in a stadium. So many people try to come in and order both hot and mild wings that we had to make an official statement about it on our website.
