What Everyone Must Know About SIMPLE LIVING

Simplicity is a key to having a happy life and health and lifestyle oracle. We might not agree on what is “simplistic” or “simply” in the world, but that doesn’t change the proof from science and history. Our lives are abundant with things, opportunities and tasks that seem to require more than one person to do. But those things don’t have to consume our lives; there are many ways we can simplify our lives without sacrificing complexity. With so many resources available for simplifying your life, it’s time for you to find simplicity everywhere and release yourself from the chains of clutter and impracticality that have been holding you back from your true potential.

1. What is Simplicity?

Simplicity is a key to living and enjoying your life. The less complicated your life, the more relaxed it will be. Simplicity helps us focus on what matters, what we truly need and desire. Clutter doesn’t just take up valuable space; it takes up valuable time and attention as well. It’s the feeling that you need to move in circles around all of your possessions instead of being able to go straight to the things you want.

2. Limit the number of possessions

Living with simplicity can be achieved by limiting the number of possessions you have and their quantity, as well as finding simple ways to use those that you do own. For example, most things should not need to be on your dresser. Garbage cans should be placed in bathrooms or kitchens and not around the house. (This can mean getting rid of some things that may be necessary but only need to be in one place at a time.)

3. Think before you buy

Living with simplicity is best achieved by thinking before you buy. First write down everything that you want and need, then take the items off the list one by one until you are left only with what’s necessary for your life.

4. Be honest

Living with simplicity is best achieved by being honest (with yourself and others) and being brave enough to change your life. If you want to live a simple life, you must be willing to part with things that do not serve that goal. Give away the clothes that don’t fit, the items you bought but never used, the books that aren’t read or enjoyed – anything extra in your home or life is clutter, so give it up!

5. Your needs

Living with simplicity means living with just what you need. The more we have of something, the less we appreciate it and enjoy it. There are some things that you should have multiples of, but most are not like this. If you can live with just one iron, one pillow and one television, why would you need more?

6. Relaxed attitude

Living with simplicity means developing a relaxed attitude about possessions. Don’t buy more because you feel the need to fill a space or an empty cupboard. Do it because you really want or need it and spend time thinking about what will keep your life simple and help you relax.

7. Reduced To-do

Living with simplicity means not just reducing the amount of items in your home but also reducing the number on your to-do list to just those that are important. Each day is a new opportunity to cross off tasks and move closer to our goals.

8. Spend less

Living with simplicity means spending less on entertainment by thinking outside of the box. If you want to go to the movies, why not find free online or free streaming movie sites so that you can watch your favorites for free? If you want television, why not get rid of the cable TV and use your computer or smartphone instead?

9. Stop unnecessary activity

Living with simplicity means not just finding ways to limit your possessions but also limiting yourself from unnecessary activities. Sit down at night and think about everything that has happened during the day and what matters; then eliminate or reduce activities that aren’t as important as others. Simple living means drastically less time and energy spent on meaningless things.

10. Willing to do things

Living with simplicity means being willing to do without things that you want and need. If you want to go sailing, why not rent a boat instead? If you want to go camping, why not find a national park and go for free? Simple living means becoming more aware of what you don’t really need in life.

11. What we really want

Living with simplicity is just plain simple! It’s about focusing on what we really want (and are willing) to do, having a lack of clutter in our lives and everything else falling into place naturally.

Summary:

Simplicity is a key to life. We become happier when we reduce the amount of clutter in our lives and simplify our plans to reach our desired goals. Clutter takes up valuable space, time and attention, so it’s best to live with as little as possible and focus on what really matters.

Simple living is about learning what we truly want, realizing that there are unlimited things in the world to choose from, living life with less clutter and forgoing unnecessary activities for those that are important. Living more simply will free up more time and energy for us to live freely and achieve more than ever before.
