7 Far Cry Shooter Game Secrets You Never Knew

You’ve seen the trailers, you’re ready to play pixel 3xl far cry 4 images for the first time, and then…you die. And die again. And again. You’re getting frustrated, you’re finding it difficult to quit. So, with a little extra information from us to get you past the first few levels of disappointing killing, Far Cry shooting should be a breeze. By following these seven tips below and you’ll find that the best strategy is always follow your heart!

Far Cry is Ubisoft’s open-world FPS series that has players hunting down dangerous animals as they explore exotic and challenging environments. The games were developed by Ubisoft Montreal in collaboration to create an experience unlike any other when it comes to shooting action games.

1. Far Cry Shooter is set in an open world on an island called “Rook Island”

The plot involves an ex-special operations soldier named Jack Carver who is hired by a scientist couple to escort them to the isolated Rook Island after they have discovered a rare flower. The plant could be used to create medicine so it’s in Jack’s best interest and the world’s to escort them. Upon arriving, Jack is surprised that there are no other inhabitants except for them until he hears gun fire coming from too close for comfort. Jack soon realizes that the island has been taken over by an organization called The Agency and its leader General Cortez who are hell bent on finding a mysterious object that can be found somewhere on Rook Island. The object is believed to be a new form of highly addictive drug, “blend”, that was created by the scientist couple.

2. Far Cry 3 is a First Person Shooter (FPS)

Ok, so this should be obvious to most people but when I first started playing I hadn’t been experiencing FPS games as much as I had in the past and almost blew several members of my squad away thinking they were animals. It’s not a bad thing at all; it just might take some getting used to if you haven’t played very much in recent years.

3. Far Cry 3 is not overly difficult…

Not at all! It’s just a matter of patience and learning the controls first. The game is extremely forgiving and almost every time you die, you will respawn back at the same checkpoint (this may have changed in future versions). If you’re getting swarmed by enemies, look for opportunities to take them out silently because you can quickly become outnumbered if you take your time.

4. …but it’s still challenging enough

Playing on Normal difficulty will make the game more accommodating but like I said earlier, don’t expect to run through it as if it were a cake walk (and if you do, please send me your gamer ID so we can discuss our mutual admiration). Some people like to think of difficulty in terms of “difficult to learn” but I believe the true test is “difficult to master”, meaning you’ll still have a challenge after you’ve learned how to play the game.

5. Far Cry 3 has good replay value with…

In the extras menu, there are upgrades that can be made by hunting down rare animals and completing challenges. I was able to make my sniper rifle more accurate for example and increase the magazine size for my assault rifle, just to name a few. The game encourages players to explore in order to complete upgrades which means even after you complete a campaign, you’re not necessarily done playing!

6. …a multiplayer mode to boot

There isn’t much to be said about the Far Cry 3 multiplayer mode since it’s likely you won’t be playing it for very long if at all. If you’re looking for a challenge, play with friends and try to kill each other in a decent time. If you just want mindless fun, try out some of the other modes such as capture the flag or domination.

7. Far Cry 3 is NOT a huge console seller…

…but if you’re looking for something that will be fun, addictive and easy to pick up, this definitely fits the bill as one of the best shooting games on PS3 (in my opinion). I bought Far Cry 3 for the PC because I’m more of a console gamer and prefer my games to look better, but from what I’ve heard it’s the same game with less detail in graphics which should still make this game enjoyable for everyone.

Summary:

Far Cry is one of the best FPS games you can play without having played any in recent years. It’s not difficult, it’s just challenging enough, and has enough bells and whistles to keep you coming back for more. This game is definitely worth buying and playing through at least once if not multiple times…in fact, I’m going to do it now!

If you’re ever stuck on a level (like me) there are a few things that will help your progress. One way is to look for animals on the map as this will give you an idea of where to find items that could be useful later on in your mission.
