8 Ways MOTIVATION Can Make You Invincible

If you struggle with motivation, it can be tough to get your life in order. You’re not alone! Millions of people struggle with motivation like reading uplifting snoopy quotes. If you need help getting your life together, here are 8 ways MOTIVATION can make you invincible.

#1: Get a ‘wants’ list

You can’t take action on what you don’t want. Often, in order to get something done, you need to figure out what it is that you actually want. Think of the things you want to accomplish in the next 6 months or 1 year and write them down. One of the most important things that every entrepreneur should do is to have an “A wants” list. By creating a “wants” list you will be able to see in black and white what you are willing to do, and what you are not willing to do. It’s amazing how this simple process will help you get clarity on your direction.

#2: Make a budget

Yes, you must make a budget or else you will be spending your entire paycheck on frivolous things. The best way to budget is to start small and then track the money that you spend. Maybe you’re still struggling with motivation, or maybe your goal is so big that it’s easy for others to tell you it’s too hard. Either way, you need to make a budget if you are serious about getting your life in order. Once you see your money draining out of your bank account, that’s when you’ll get motivated.

#3: Start mastering the art of delayed gratification

Delayed gratification is one of the most important skills for someone who is struggling with motivation. Being able to delay gratification has enabled me to do things like this blog, which I enjoy but don’t feel passionate about. The reason I am able to create content for this blog is because I have mastered the art of delayed gratification and it has allowed me to be more productive rather than watching tv all day. It is possible to live a life where you accomplish amazing things without having to do them today.

#4: Find your place of solace

Every entrepreneur needs a place of solace in their life. For me, this is blogging. Blogging has allowed me to be more productive and less depressed than I would have been otherwise. It’s an incredibly important thing that I have gained much of the time, but others might find writing emails or studying for something very fulfilling. For some people sitting at the computer programming might be their goal, while others might need to meditate or spend time with their family in order for them to succeed.

#5: Surround yourself with people who want the same things as you

I am always surprised at how many people I meet who want to succeed, but they surround themselves with people who don’t. This is the equivalent of building a race car on a dirt road. It’s very important to surround yourself with people who have the same goals as you for 3 main reasons: You will get good ideas from them, You will learn from them, and They will motivate you.

#6: Stop watching Tv

Tv leads to unproductive and unhappy people. If you spend all day watching Tv, you’re going to be a very unhappy person. The reason I have been able to have a productive life is because I avoid being part of the entertainment industry, by not watching TV at all. A lot of people tell me that they can’t stop watching tv. I know it’s hard. But every time I watch TV I feel like my life is being wasted. Whenever I watch a great documentary or read a book, it feels like my entire life is being enriched.

#7: Get your body in tip top shape

Take a look at the People’s fitness magazine cover and you can see what inspired me to get my body in shape. I was always skinny as a kid and I never thought I’d look like this. Getting my body into tip top shape has allowed me to feel great about myself. I feel like the best way to get motivated is when you’re feeling great about yourself.

#8: Start learning how to be productive

Here are the best ways to be productive. It’s not to be better, but to do more. To do more, you must learn how to prioritize and delegate. Being productive is a skill. It’s a skill that can be learned just like anything else in life, and once you have mastered it you will never have to worry about motivation again.

Conclusion:

When it comes to getting motivated there are a lot of people who ultimately fall short. They might have the talent and skill, but they don’t have the motivation. This is a huge mistake that I made for years when I failed on multiple projects. It takes time, effort and consistency to master motivation.

You can’t just be motivated in a moment, you have to keep getting motivated all the time in order for it to work. Find ways to get your life organized and then use those ways to keep getting motivated. Don’t be lazy about your process, get things done during this process so you are ready for the next one even if you are not feeling it at that specific time.
