Elizabeth is a 16 year old girl who went missing in late November. She has not been seen or heard from since that date and we still have no idea where she is.
This blog post will be a compilation of all the information we have to date, as well as some ideas about what might have happened and how we can find her.
We are posting this on the day that is 15 years into her disappearance, to help us reach out to each other and let everyone know that she is still missing.
I have posted a few blogs before about Elizabeth being here on earth, so I will try to keep this one as brief as possible. Today is her 17th birthday…it’s hard to believe she has been missing for so long, I was only eleven when she disappeared.
Here are some information about elizabeth brown who went missing from ruskin –
1. Elizabeth is a 16 year old girl who was last seen on November
She had been going to school since March. Elizabeth was the daughter of a South African mother and a British father, she has a younger brother and sister.
Elizabeth’s mother reported her daughter missing two weeks after she disappeared, according to the police.
Elizabeth was last seen at the Slaugham High School in Horsham, West Sussex on November 26 where she is a student. Elizabeth has not been seen or heard from since that date.
2. The police have declared Elizabeth’s disappearance “unexplained”.
This is pretty scary because it means that no one knows what happened to her. The police are looking for Elizabeth and we need to help them find her!
There is a substantial amount of public interest in the case and the teen girl has been featured on Crimewatch and BBC News . We need to keep this case alive and keep trying to find out what happened to Elizabeth, it’s hard but we can all help! If anyone knows anything or if you see anything relating to the case please feel free to contact me, I will do my best.
3. The police are looking for Elizabeth in the UK and South Africa.
They are also asking anyone who saw or spoke to her around that time to call 101 or 01403 745555. I feel that if anyone did see anything, they would have come forward by now, so if you have any information about Elizabeth please get in touch with the police.
She was last seen wearing a black skirt, black boots, a black hoodie with ‘NEXT’ on the front in white lettering, along with a grey blazer and grey tights. She is described as being 5ft 4ins tall, of slim build with long dark brown hair which she usually wore in plaits.
4. There have been many reported sightings of Elizabeth since she disappeared.
The police are looking into all of them, but none have yet led to finding her.
There was a possible sighting in Nottingham on the 27th November 2016, where police were called at around 10am to reports of a girl matching Elizabeth’s description being sighted between 9.30am and 10am.
Police are also looking into CCTV footage from Cambridge train station on December 16 to see if it shows Elizabeth, as there is a possibility that she travelled there to meet someone.
5. Her family and friends have helped by putting up flyers
They also put up a Facebook page and a twitter account so everyone can keep updated about the case. Her mother has started a blog to try to find her.
I’ve linked it above, which you could read if you wanted, but I just want to give her credit for trying to find her daughter. It’s not easy and has been hard for all of them since she went missing.
6. Elizabeth’s mother is also running a facebook page in hopes.
As you can see, this is no small thing for her, she is genuinely searching for her daughter. The mother has put up a dedicated ‘find Elizabeth brown’ website , which you can read more about on this blog post I put up yesterday.

The police do not know where Elizabeth visited before she disappeared, but it is possible she went to the shops or similar places near Horsham during that time.
Elizabeth’s mother also thinks that her daughter was last seen at the Slaugham high School . In a missing persons appeal email, the police said:
‘We have trawled through CCTV footage from the area but have not obtained any useful images. You may be aware that Elizabeth attended Slaugham High School and it is possible that she visited the shops around this time.’
