Sexy HAIR DYE

Hair dye can be used to change the color or style of your hair. It typically consists of a liquid or paste that is applied either wet or dry to the hair and exposed to light, in order for it to react, which changes the hair’s color hairstyles for bucket hats. This leaves a temporary color that washes out after about 10 shampoos depending on how porous your strands are. Here is just a small list of some more creative, less traditional uses for all your fancy dye…

1. PARTY HORSE

If you get bored of the same old black or brown hair dye, try a few strands of bright pink, red, green or purple. This one is more advanced and can be found on Pinterest. The great thing about using hair dyes for parties is that you don’t have to worry about it not looking good for hours so your guests can tease you about your new hairstyle!

2. 90s LOCKS

After wearing your hair alone all day, slip in a comb and tie up a pink or red shade into your hair. This might sound a little extreme but it’s great to change things up every now and then…just never ask the guys at work if they like it!

3. SILVER FOX

Your hair might be a little too short to dye it blue but the next best thing is grey. Don’t worry if you don’t have any grey strands to begin with. Start by mixing a small amount of grey hair dye with your current color and apply it in thin layers over time. You’ll be amazed at how great your hair looks when you can finally see ashy undertones poking out of your blonde locks or darker shades underneath your brown locks!

4. HOLOGRAM HAIR

If you’re scared of trying too many crazy color combinations, try placing a few holographic stickers in strategic spots and combing some clear gel across them. This will give the effect of your colored strands with other colored highlights.

5. SKY BLUE

If you take a piece of blue hair dye and mix it with some salt water, you can create a fun and easy set of temporary blue streaks. It’s perfect for the beach or hot summer day when all you need is a little something to make your hair look a little bit brighter!

6. BUBBLEGUM BLONDE

If you have short blonde hair but want it to have more bounce or dimension, try adding some bubblegum pink dye at the ends. It’s for sure a conversation starter.

7. Different Shades Of Red

If you already have highlights in your hair, try to put some different shades of red in it over time. You can add more as it grows out or let some pieces fade into a lighter shade. It’s fun to see how tones will shift naturally over time and creates even more room for subtlety in your hair color!

8. A COLORFUL COMB

If you can get your hands on a large enough comb and a few bright colors of dye, you can easily create a set of temporary streaks without any damage.

9. UNDERWATER HAIR

Use hair dye to attain the aqua look we all dream about. Mix in some blue and green with clear gel and you’ll be ready to rock this look at the beach or pool party!

10. A FUN STRIPED COMB

Don’t worry if you don’t have time to wait for your hair to grow out into different colors! Take some black dye and paint several different colors over your bright pink comb, creating a striped effect.

11. A TOUSLED PIG-TAIL

When you have a sweet little hairstyle going on but it’s just not crazy enough for your taste, try pulling a piece of hair out of your pig-tail and then tie it back in with the rest. This adds an extra boho element to your look!

12. GLOWING HAIR

Get ready to glow like the moon. Take some blue dye and mix it with some clear gel. Try to obtain a lotion that is easy to pour like “Herbal Essence” or “Big Sexy Hair”. Apply the gel and let it sit for a few hours. Finally, blow dry your hair so the color stays. This is a good way to create a nice glow or special touch in your look without going crazy.

13. GOLDEN HAIR

Mix some yellow dye and clear gel with some water and then apply to your hair. After it dries, comb through. The effect will look similar to gold!

14. A WILD COLOR COMB

Mix some green dye with some blue gel to create an interesting color combination for your hair! Try making a bigger puffy hairstyle like in this picture for the Wild Lizard look!

15. SPECIAL EFFECTS

Apply a piece of colored paper to your hair (you can make a stencil or use letters). Once the paper dries, you will have a symbol or text in your hair!

16. CLEAR HAIR

Nothing is better for summer than cool hair! If you have the patience to wait for it to grow, try using clear dye so you can see all of those beautiful strands. The sun will shine through and light up your hair!
